The sewing room is a fairly new addition to the museum! Work is still being done to add displays to this new building.
Included in the sewing room are several antique sewing machines, doily sewing pattern magazines from the 1940's and several mannequins with great and great-great grandmother's dresses and aprons (complete with holes from the grasshopper plague in the 1970's!).
